BATTLE OF THE BALD

What it is:
We are recruiting teams from across our area that have a few brave people (kids and adults too) that want to help make a difference by shaving their heads. It is scary, we know. But kids fighting cancer don’t only lose their hair, they lose their innocence. This sacrifice by their peers will not only help raise money for much needed research, it also shows cancer fighters that they are not alone.

How it works:
• You solicit members of your organization that would be willing to participate as a shavee. Don’t worry… we will help you. Our founder, Todd Schultz, is willing to come share his battle with cancer and explain how head shaving can help.
• Each willing participant raises a minimum of $50 to participate. All shavees will receive a professional shave completed by licensed barbers and cosmetologists, a Battle of the Bald t-shirt, lunch, lots of laughs, and a feeling of satisfaction.
• Your participants come out on head shaving day and be brave, be bold, and become bald.

But hey, what is in it for my organization:
We get it, we are asking a lot and making the decision to shave is not easy. Each participating organization will be eligible to have their logo on our shirts and other event day materials, recognition on all of our social media, and a shout out on our web page. We are also pleased to announce the following level incentives:
• $500 total organization contribution (all of your members combined raise a total of $500): Signage for your organization at an additional PTG Event, your organization announced and recognized at one additional PTG event, and a link to your organizations web site on the PTG website for 3 months.
• $1000 total organization contribution (all of your members combined raise a total of $1000): Signage for your organization at two additional PTG events, your organization announced and recognized at two additional PTG events, 2 complimentary entries in our Running for Gold 5k or 2 complimentary registrations to our Go Gold Music Trivia, and a link to your organizations web site on the PTG website for 6 months.
• $2500 total organization contribution (all of your members combined raise a total of $2500): Signage for your organization at three additional PTG events, your organization announced and recognized at three additional PTG events, 4 complimentary entries in our Running for Gold 5k or 4 complimentary registrations to our Go Gold Music Trivia, and a link to your organizations web site on the PTG website for 9 months.
• $5000 total organization contribution (all of your members combined raise a total of $5000): Signage for your organization at all PTG events, your organization announced and recognized at all PTG events, 4 complimentary entries in our Running for Gold 5k or 4 complimentary registrations to our Go Gold Music Trivia, and a link to your organizations web site on the PTG website for 9 months.

We will also have food, drinks, and a family fun atmosphere! All proceeds benefit pediatric cancer research through the St. Baldrick’s foundation!

It takes a brave kid to fight cancer and a brave hero to stand up for them. Join us as and help us take a stand and shave their heads to help fight pediatric cancer.
